A lot of orgs/groups do this already but in a circle of introductions it’s helpful to have participants convey which gender pronoun(s) they prefer without assuming anything about anyone. My name is Frank, I prefer him/him, they/them pronouns and my favorite spirit animal is the panda.
I’d also recommend we drop the ironic, culturally appropriative use of “spirit animal” among non-Indigenous members of the ultimate community.
