Zach was born and raised in Orlando and has attended the University of Central Florida for seven years. In May, he earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. In his time at UCF, Zach played on HAVOC, UCF's B-team, for two years, and on the Dogs of War for three, as well as Omen during club season. He handled strength and conditioning for the Dogs during the 2013 and 2014 seasons, and earned a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification through the NSCA in the summer of 2013.
