The 2014 Youth Ultimate Coaching Conference coverage is presented by the Bay Area Disc Association.

This interactive workshop introduces PCA’s Double-Goal Coach model and presents research from experts in coaching, education and sports psychology. Every participant gains access to dozens of practical, proven tools, such as helping athletes bounce back from mistakes and deal with nervousness. It explores the three principles of Positive Coaching: 1) Honoring the Game, 2) Filling Emotional Tanks and 3) Teaching the ELM Tree of Mastery. Come ready to share your own coaching best practices.

Tina Syer

Tina Syer is the Chief Impact Officer at Positive Coaching Alliance, a non-profit organization founded in the Stanford University Athletic Department in 1998, which annually impacts more than 1 million youth athletes across the US.  In her role she oversees training, programs, marketing and evaluation.  Tina played field hockey at Stanford, where she graduated with honors in psychology and was named an Academic All American.  Her coaching experience includes seasons at the high school, college and Olympic Development levels.
