Bids to the Championships won so far:  Virginia, Illinois, Cornell, Wisconsin, Iowa, Carleton, Luther, Pittsburgh, Florida

Atlantic Coast

• DI (Number of bids – 1) – Virginia wins 15-7 over North Carolina-Wilmington to claim bid.
• DIII (1) – Wake Forest over Davidson.

Great Lakes

• DI (1) –  Illinois over Michigan State 15-11 in final. Predicted favorite Michigan falls to Illinois 9-15 in a semifinals upset.
• DIII (1) – North Park over Rose-Hulman.

Metro East

• DI (1) – Cornell wins 15-12 over NYU.
• DIII (1) – Connecticut over Rensselaer Polytech.

North Central

• DI (4) – Wisconsin over Carleton 14-11 to win the region. Iowa then beats Carleton 14-6 taking second place. Carleton settles with third. Luther upsets Minnesota 12-9 to take the fourth and final bid to the Championships.

Ohio Valley

• DI (1) – Pittsburgh over Penn State 15-9 .

Southeast

• DI (1) – Florida 12-10 over Georgia.
