Steve Slocum first picked up Ultimate at SUNY Buffalo with Green Eggs and Ham. After college, he moved down to Baltimore and had a few good years with Medicine Men before blowing his knee out and switching focus to his PhD. In a moment of ultimate withdrawal induced weakness, he agreed to RC the open division in the Mid-Atlantic, and despite swearing off of the job every year, has only managed to move regions. He now lives in Boston and does his best to fulfill the crotchety old man role needed on every summer league team.
