You’re right, UK is currently on BST. I suspect that they meant to say “BST” rather than “GMT”.

Anyway, the time difference is 5 hours ahead of EDT.

    • Test

Please then edit the webpage so that it says the times of the games are GMT+1 and not GMT. Thanks.

Just this games are gonna be in streaming?

  • OllieGaskell

It still blows my mind that people’s immediate comment is ‘no “insert team” being filmed?? Whaddafaq skyd?!’ – they’re currently steaming 13 different countries across 3 divisions. 2 days are still unconfirmed and then there are 7 semifinal and finals games over the last two days! That’s a lot of games for your team to get into.

A quick look at the schedule shows they are streaming from Pitch 4 -The Arena – for the first 3 days. If you’re not playing on Pitch 4 for those days, you’re not being streamed. Its not because Skyd hates your team and doesn’t want you to get streaming time. That is because its incredibly difficult to do a High Quality broadcast when you are ‘Roving Reporter’ rather then being in a fixed area with access to power and a reliable internet connection.

Thanks Skyd, for letting us watch high level ultimate for free

Thanks Ollie… if we had more budget we could bring more crew and cover more fields and teams. Just comes down to $$$. If we charge for footage we don’t get enough subscribers to cover the costs… so currently budget is included in player fees.

      • Ken

        Hi Mike,

Thanks for the honest answer. And i think it was the right move to include the broadcasting cost to player fees. Getting this fact known might help for many teams crowdfunding for their future international games. Anyway, stay warm and looking forward to the rest of streaming!

  • ausjmc10

You guys rock. Thanks for pumping out this footage. Fingers crossed the infrastructure and conditions are cooperative for streaming.

Vote 1 Australia if you get any say on Wed/Thu filming schedule!

  • Nicolas Camacho

@Skydmagazine what about the tomorrow streaming schedule.

  • Mark Lopez

Why never stream SPAIN? only 1 match. I cant understand how is posible some teams stream 2 times and Spain 0

  • Lia

Great coverage, many great commentators, big thanks to Skyd for your efforts!
but I’m so so so disappointed that so few mixed games have been streamed and that the coverage of today’s semi-final has been changed! :( Why???
Big fan base here for Team Germany, we’d planned to watch and cheer for our Dresden girls, now we gotta keep our fingers crossed that they beat the US and we get to see them in the final! ;)
    Go Team Germany Mixed!!!
