I’m Zack Purdy, and I will be writing a new column for No Look Scoober. As the President of a DIII team (the Claremont Braineaters) I noticed that last season there was a lack of good DIII coverage. There were one or two articles directly before and after the DIII championships, but other than that, there was almost no coverage.
Thus, this year, I’ll be writing a new column for Skyd called “DIII Nation” highlighting the top DIII teams in the country. Hopefully, this will provide more of a narrative coming into the championship, as opposed to seeing 15 mysterious teams on score reporter the week before the competition. Towards the end of the season I may do some rankings/analysis, but for now I’ll just be doing interviews. Because I am currently playing for a DIII team, I will try my best not to be biased and to make clear when I am expressing my personal opinions.
