Skyd is pleased to announce our partnership with Discore.ru, Russia’s premier website for Ultimate. Our partnership brings some of Skyd’s top articles to Discore, translated into Russian for a whole new audience. Discore has already proven itself as a dedicated exhibitor of Ultimate information for Russia and we’re pleased to be able to help augment it with articles from some of our excellent contributors. Special thanks to Tanny Ponomareva for making this all possible.
Here’s a bit more about Discore and our partnership from Tanny:
The Discore project was created in the middle of 2010 and made a name as the first news and analytical Frisbee portal in Russia. Our first goal was to cover all information about the tournaments going on in Russia and abroad. We also announced some information about the Ultimate history, interviewed top players, transferred twitter reports and created a hotline for Ultimate questions.
Discore Magazine covered all Russian National Championship’s news and published analytical leaflets two years in a row. We are growing in analytical part of work and involving more writers to help develop our project.
After Sockeye camp in the May 2011 our Russian community got interested in team improvement even more. And in the end of 2011 year we signed an agreement with Skyd Magazine and received official permission to translate articles. This agreement gave us a huge opportunity to be involved in the best team’s development experience and gave us a chance to grow our game level faster then ever.
We’re excited to see where this partnership will go and how Discore will continue to develop and share our sport with the Russian Ultimate community.
