The Bluegrass Revolution is one of eight teams participating in the AUDL‘s inaugural season come April of this year. Though Skyd could not attend Revolution’s tryout combine on January 29th, I was pleased to be able to sit down with owner David Veech, and Coach/General Manager Raymie Younkin. In this SkydCast we talk the realities of the first AUDL season, Veech’s entrance as owner of the Revolution and Younkin’s assessment of tryouts and the upcoming season. For those interested in the inner workings of the AUDL and the teams within, this SkydCast has a lot to offer. Thanks a lot to David and Raymie for taking the time to talk in depth about Revolution. It’s clear they’re putting a ton of effort into this team and it will be exciting to see what happens next.
The Revolution was also kind enough to share with us the following video that they used to promote their combine. It features their “marquee player” Benjamin Parris.
Revolution also shared this pre-combine video outlining the different tests that were administered at the tryout.
