College Championships Back in Madison

USA Ultimate just announced that the 2013 College Championships will be in Madison, Wisconsin. Madison first hosted the Championships in 1991.

Back in May, USAU’s Will Deaver told Skyd that Nationals would not be returning to Boulder. This year, the Wisconsin v. Oregon Open Semifinal and the Oregon v. Michigan Women’s Semifinal were negatively impacted by wind gusts of over 30mph. In 2011, wind rendered the Open final between Carleton and Wisconsin virtually unwatchable. The move definitely makes sense from a marketing standpoint.
