by | May 25, 2013, 8:53pm 0

The rest of the action in Pool A occurred without any surprises, and after all of the rounds were played out, the pool ended up going to seed. Oregon rolled through both Dartmouth and Georgia, beating them 15-10 and 15-6, respectively, en route to a 4-0 record and a bye into the quarterfinals. Colorado proved to be appropriately seeded 2nd in the pool as they dealt a 15-9 loss to Washington and handled Dartmouth with relatively ease, beating them 15-8. Despite the two losses, Dartmouth ended up going 2-2, which was enough to keep their seed and earn them a spot in the pre-quarterfinals against the tournament #5 seed, Texas Tuff. In the final game of Pool A, between Georgia and Washington, Georgia proved to be the better team and presented the Sundodgers with their fourth and final loss of the weekend by the score of 15-13.
