- It’s that time again! Time for the MLU plays of the week for week 7! To start, Daniel Kantor (#1) lays out for an unbelievable point block. Next, whenever you see this happen in the MLU, you can bet your bottom dollar it will be the offensive play of the week. Every. Time. Finally, the catch of the week from Portland’s Steve Gussin (#44) proves being ambidextrous when going up for a disc is an effective weapon, even (or maybe especially) between two defenders.
- Let’s keep the kudos flowin’! This time shout-out to MOHI (Monarch High School) girl’s ultimate team for winning the 2013 High School Westerns Championship with a point differential of +75! Since the girl’s teams’ beginning 3 years ago, the program has gone 64-1, and has taken home the High School Westerns hardware all three years. Check out all the dominating highlights from 2013.
