Russian-born, 2007 Callahan award winner Anna "Maddog" Nazarov has been a force within ultimate since her time playing with UCLA's BLU. Maddog has spent much of her career playing for Women's and Mixed teams in San Francisco and won a Club Championship with Fury in 2012. In 2013, Anna was one of 20 finalists for a spot on the United States World Games team. Most recently, Anna is a member of the United States' Women's National Team for the 2015 World Championships of Beach Ultimate.
Anna didn't get to try a camel milkshake or go indoor skiing, but she did get two medals and some chocolate cake. And those are just two reasons Beach Worlds was a success.

Beach Worlds gets underway in Dubai on Monday. They know what to pack and what leave at home, as well as how to stay fit... be it on sand or in the snow.
