Bruce Overstreet, a long-time high school teacher and coach, is exploring his physical limits at the age of 52 by trying new activities outside of his comfort zone and then chronicling those experiences on his blog, Second Wind. His goal is to inspire other people who enter their 40s, 50s, and 60s to stay active and pursue their passion. He is not afraid of failure and humility in his physical pursuits; in fact, that’s part of the whole process. He recently participated in the combine/try-out for the AUDL Seattle Raptors and has the following observations.
