Kami Groom is a 2012 graduate of Washington University in St. Louis. During her ultimate career, Kami has been a five-time Nationals qualifier, a Top Ten Callahan finisher, a Skyd Playmaker, a three-time All-Region selection, and Freshman of the Year. She currently resides in her hometown of Kansas City, MO, where she serves middle school New Americans as a Teach For America corps member. When she’s not busy teaching her students essential English words like “huck” and “hand block,” Kami enjoys living in Middle Earth, eating as much greasy fast food as her 100-pound frame will allow, and failing to control her addiction to spy shows and gummy vitamins.
