Lien was introduced to Ultimate her senior year of high school in Colorado in 2008, before attending Northwestern University where she is currently finishing her fourth year playing and second year captaining for Northwestern GungHo. She will remain for a fifth year to earn a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering. She was named Great Lakes FOTY in 2009, and All-Region in 2010, 2011. Her club experience includes playing in the Women’s Club Division with Chicago Nemesis in 2010. She loves playing competitive women’s Ultimate and is very proud of Northwestern’s first competing B team established this year. She’s happy to help women’s Ultimate develop in whatever way she can.
