After one day of play the North Central Region is falling mostly to seed with Carleton CUT, Wisconsin clinching a Nationals appearance after beating Iowa and Minnesota respectively in the semis. Grey Duck and IHUC will run a more difficult path in which any loss could place them in a backdoor game against a team, like Carleton GOP or Wisconsin Whitwater, hungry for an upset.
