MELISSA WITMER, Kinesiology
Melissa dropped out of Chemistry at the University of Illinois in favor of playing more Ultimate and earning a Masters in Kinesiology. She has several years of coaching experience with both college and high school players. In 2010 she began Ultimate Results with the goal of providing better, Ultimate specific fitness and coaching resources to team captains and coaches. TIM MORRILL, Strength & Conditioning Specialist
Tim is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) who has worked with youth, collegiate and professional athletes through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), Mike Boyle Strength and Conditioning Boston, High Intensity Training (HIT), 365 Performance, and NCAA Divisions I and III. He has played Ultimate at the college, club and summer league levels around the country.
ALAN JANZEN, Strength and Conditioning Coach
Alan is the co-owner of Explosive Sports Performance with his brother Phil, specializing in athletic performance training in San Antonio, TX. More information about their training programs and a link to their blog can be found at www.explosivesp.com. Alan began playing Ultimate in 2005 with the University of Oklahoma Apes of Wrath, competed during his graduate work at The Catholic University of America, and has since played with Regionals-level club teams from both Washington, DC (open) and Austin, TX (mixed).
